Hamilton, ON – After two back-to-back sold-out performances in 2022 and 2023, MIDDLE RAGED, the hit comedy stage show starring Geri Hall and Gary Pearson, is back at The Westdale—and this time, they’re bringing a fresh lineup of laughs.

Performing for two shows only on November 1 at 7:30 PM and November 2 at 2:00 PM, MIDDLE RAGED dives headfirst into the madness of midlife: raising kids, caring for aging parents, navigating relationships, and even experimenting with “Outlander”-inspired role play—because why not?

Written and performed by two of Canada’s comedy greats, the show is described as “powerful… even sciatica couldn’t stop it.”

Geri Hall, a Gemini Award winner and beloved cast member from This Hour Has 22 Minutes, brings her sharp wit and authentic charm to the stage. “Geri Hall lives in Hamilton. She’s real and down to earth. Gary Pearson lives in Oakville, and admits to being a bit full of himself.”

Gary Pearson, a Canadian Screen Award and Writer’s Guild Award winner, is known for his writing on MadTV, Corner Gas, and 22 Minutes. Together, Hall and Pearson have brought MIDDLE RAGED coast to coast, from St. John’s to Vancouver, but they have a special place in their hearts for Hamilton. “Don’t tell the others, but their favourite theatre is The Westdale.” says manager Lorne Perlmutar.

And for fans returning for a second (or third) round, Gary and Geri assure that there’s plenty of fresh material: “The show has plenty of new jokes. Turns out you can teach old dogs new tricks.”

Critics have praised the duo’s razor-sharp timing and undeniable rapport on stage. Now Magazine hailed their performance as “terrific onstage chemistry. Hot flashes of brilliance.” TV critic Bill Brioux added, “Hall and Pearson bring it all to life in ways that will have you laughing and nodding in total agreement.”
